Stranded

I was starting to regret not putting up more of an argument to fly to Aunt Sarah’s house. I mean, come on, why would anyone in their right mind want to drive five hours acoss scalding hot New Mexico deserts in the summertime? I guess my parents weren’t in their right minds after all.

Hello. I’m Click. I live with my mom and all of her pets. She has 1 cat, 3 dogs, 7 lizards, 2 snakes, and 13 frogs. She studies reptiles and amphibians for a research facility.  It was these pets that got me in trouble.

“Wake up, Click! It's time for school!” yelled Mom through the door. I sat up, yawning. I went to work with her instead of going to the town’s school, but she said that taught me enough. “Coming!” I yelled back at her. That's when I noticed Thunder, the cat, going towards the forbidden part of the forest. “Can I go hiking today instead?”

The Memory Swiper

It was getting dark, my best friend Lily Leonard and I were frantically digging through the sand.
“Vivian have you found it?” Lily asked me.

“Not yet,” I replied. Lily lost her lucky charm in the sandbox at Linville Park. I promised I’d help her find it. The lucky charm is important to Lily because her mother is very sick and in the hospital. I feel so bad for her.

Unknown

As the dragon draws nearer the smoke files out of his nostrils. One by one by one. It’s a few yards away now. That was my cue. I draw my sword from my belt. It is shining silver. I’ve never seen it shine like this before. I start sprinting towards the dragon. That's when it happens. The smoke turns to flames. I’m not scared. The dragon takes a deep breath.

The Storybook

“Katie, come on let's go!” Kacy yelled. “Okay just a second,” I yelled. “No Katie, we have to go now!” “Come on Kacy, just give me a second I'm on the last page of this book and I have to see how it ends!” By the way, Kacy is my sister and sometimes she is so annoying! I mean, does she know what it's like to be on the last page of a book and have to stop reading? “What book is so interesting you are willing to be late to school for?” Kacy asked me. “Well it's just this old storybook I found in the attic. It has fairy tales with twists!”

Break A Leg

I could feel my hand swing back as I was ready to do my back tuck. I had to do it perfectly or else I'd fail and look like a total dork. I knew I could do this, except I was nervous. And when I'm nervous my hands get sweaty and the whole world is against me. But if I wait to long and fail I'll look like a bigger dork. I started to swing my arms a little more and pushed my leg off the ground. I was in the air now and it seemed like it took forever to get down. I didn't see anything because I closed my eyes, but I knew everyone was watching me because it's a recital, duh.

The Runaway

“Taylor! Darling! There is a press interview in an two hours!” Mom yelled. “Mom!” I groaned. “Oh! And tell Megan too!” she shouts. Bluck. I hate press interviews. They ask us questions about what it is like to be “the daughter of one of  the most successful business man and woman ever”. Honestly, I don’t know. I am usually outside climbing a tree or something...

Disco Cinderella

Once upon a time, there was a little girl who loved to dance. Her name was Cinderella, only because she was forced to sleep next to the fireplace instead of on the bed, which her very mean step-brothers had taken up all of. Her real name was Ella, but she had no choice but to go along with her new name. Almost all of the little girls that were Cinderella’s age thought that she was so lucky because she was very rich even though it was the exact opposite...

Mary's Terrible Day

Mary was awakened by her baby brother crying. She walked downstairs and there was dirty diapers, dirty pacifiers, and  dirty bottles thrown all over the floor. Mary asked her parents, “What happened?” As soon as she said that, her mom gave her a glare. At that instant Mary was on the floor cleaning like Cinderella.

The Store Robbery

The store’s light dimmed. The door was closed and locked by the store owner, Mr. Blackwell. Mr. Blackwell started  walking to his car. All of a sudden, a shadow creeped by.“Who’s out there?” Mr. Blackwell said with a shaky breath. No response.“Who’s out there?” Mr. Blackwell said again, louder this time. Still, there was no response.

Island Adventure

When Jack went on a cruise, he fell off the boat without anyone noticing. Jack yelled and yelled to no avail, but then Jack saw an island. Jack went to the island and found a cave. Then he went in it for refuge, sleeping there for the night. When he came out, he went to find food and something to drink . He found coconuts then he cracked them with two rocks. Jack drank thirstily the sweet water from all of them. Thirst settled, Jack went for some food.

The Summary of my 10 Years of Life

“I think we need to go to the hospital” Mom said. “Okay,” said Dad. And off they went. My family had set off while my aunt and uncle stayed home. As soon as my mom had set off with my dad and arrived, the doctor asked Mom to walk. Holy Cow! She was in so much pain. You see, she was going to have a baby (her first child). Finally, the moment arrived. All the relatives were waiting outside when the baby finally came to life. This was on July 7, 2008 at 3:10 PM. “Waa.” it wailed. “Hey, why is it crying?” Mom asked “It is supposed to.” Dad retorted...

The Adventures of Strong Girl

Once it was a sunny day but the sun went down and a spaceship fell from the sky. Aliens came out of the ship. One alien said “I am Red Head and this is my friend Dragon Fly. We came to take over earth.” One cop angrily said, “Put your hands in the air.” Red Head used his telekinesis to knock down one building. The building smashed and crushed a car.

Then,  Jeff comes in &in a deep voice he says, “Get me some coffee, decaf with lots of creamer.” Gi-Gi says in a soft voice, “You have a  meeting with Amy today about the schedule.” “Okay I will be in my office. The Dragon's Return

The chilly mist tickled Kate’s toes. She agreed with Jack that she would  meet him for coffee at a very strange bar called ‘The Morning Bar’ which was a peculiar name for a coffee shop. But Jack had said it was delicious somewhat. She would meet him on the bus. “Who does this? Who waits at a bus stop for 20 minutes in the chilly mist only to get to some place called ‘morning bar’”, thought Kate. The bus and its squeaky wheels pulled up.

The Haunted Neighborhood

When Jack and Elizabeth got home, they ate lunch. Once they were done, they played video games for 1 hour and then they took a nap. Then they ate dinner and went to bed. When they went to sleep they started hearing voices. The voices sounded like babies that could talk. They thought they were just tired so they fell asleep.
