Junewell

Six Years Ago…
The numbing cold wind hit my flustered red cheeks while I was trying to catch a snowflake. Yes! Finally a little white flurrie landed softly on my tongue. As soon as it dissolved, a numbing sensation hit my cheek. Not wind, something even colder than that. I touched my cheek, realizing it was all covered with the white dusting from the ground. I turned my head to look at where it came from. A person with devious green eyes and vampire-white pale skin stood there, with another snowball aimed at me. This wasn’t just any person.

Winter
by Jae
It was a cold winter night in Flocks City. Everybody was either in bed or in their house. Everyone except for Ralph the butcher, that is. He had received a mysterious phone call in the middle of the night. He had hurried to the town center, and he was greeted by a hooded man who said, “come with me.” He was led into a dark alley in which he couldn’t see anything. Suddenly, the hooded figure appeared behind him with a knife in his hand. A scream was heard from that alley and Ralph was never seen or heard from again
Fifty years later...

Everyone stood up and clapped. She went down the church stairs shaking, but her head was still up. As she sat down, her mother asked,”Do you want to see if Natalie can sleepover tonight? Just to, you know get your mind off of things?” Ginger replied with,”Yes.”

The Highland Games
by Kamryn
“Dad! I’m home!” I yelled as I walked through our musty old kitchen. Our house always smells like it’s been here for a thousand years.

“Hey, hey! There’s my little Hugo!” my grandpa managed to garble without his teeth in. With my mom away on business, Grandpa and Dad have taken over the household. Without Mom, there’s nobody to tell Dad to turn his music down or to tell Grandpa to stop yelling because he’s not as deaf as he thinks. It annoys the birds outside so much that they smash themselves into the window in hopes to knock themselves out. Oh, how I wish I could fly.

The person who killed their professor lives on a planet called Hepling.  Emma had come in the room Alex and Bevy were in, in the middle of their conversation.  After the conversation, Emma said, “We’re here.” “What! I thought they lived on the planet Hepling. That’s a ship.”said Alex. “Me too.” said Bevy. “Me too. But let’s board the ship. Maybe there are some useful things on the ship. And if no one is on the ship we can fix it up and keep it.”

Then she stopped knowing just what to say. Jenna is moving to Hollywood next week right after school is out for summer. She quickly got on the bus sitting in the back as always.
