by Asa

Everyone was in the helicopter, they were flying to an island to go hiking. After they landed, they went in the woods. Jeff walked  in front after about 4 miles of hiking they saw a huge mountain. When they got about 200 feet up, Officer John fell, he was hanging on a vine.  It started to break, then he fell and died. They kept hiking. Soon, water was shaking the ground. They ran because they knew what it meant. They ran, but Pablo got eaten, and Officer Jerimiah got rammed off the mountain.

Scarlet
by Delana
When I had awoken I was in a thick soft barrier. It was transparent and it had a scaled pattern that matched my own. I could see out of the enclosure; while I looked I saw my mother sharpening her talons with the sharp edge of another dragon’s tail, she filed them into a curved point. She spat some fire over my barrier, keeping me warm as the night went by. When she thought I was sleeping, she started to flap her wings.
“Your name is Scarlet.” she called to me as she flew away into the night.

Peel's Big Adventure
by Florence
Hi there! I am Peel. If you cannot tell I am a banana peel. I’m getting pretty old and rotten right now, but I used to be super adventurous. Now, let me tell you my story. It all started when I got chosen to be in someone’s grocery cart! It was like winning the lottery! I could feel the warm hands picking me up. They were so big that the thinish long things- from what I’ve heard I believe they are called fingers, wrapped all the way around me.

Find the Light
by Grace

I started to have dreams. Dreams about caves, underneath my home town. These caves were home to things I could never imagine, rulers of nightmares, and terrorists of dreams. I was relieved that we moved away from my old home, and that the big city of Celeste was safe from whatever caves lie beneath Osoko. Then one day, Mom came into my room, and told me to come out into the kitchen, because her and dad had some news.

Tent
by Karissa

“Mother, where are you going” I said in a firm and questionable voice. My mother stuttered and shaked. I could not understand what she wanted to say to me. Then she was grabbed by my father who started acting weird ever since he visited the “Fortune Teller” at the crowded county fair. The client before him turned out to be fine and walked with confidence out of the opaque tent, but as soon as my dad walked outside of the tent, my joyful and humorous father had turned into a creepy, and haunted stranger that I am supposed to call my loving father.

The princess was dreaming in her castle. She wondered if her mom would let her have a pet like a dog or a bird. But then she heard a “bang” that the robbers made.

The princess looked out the window and saw no one. So she went outside and saw no one again; the queen got up in her gown and saw the princess had been taken by the robbers. So the queen set a look out, but the princess knew she would never find her in Australia.

“Brrrring!” rang the bell. I was off to robotics! When we got to the library all of the boxes were laid out for us. We were making robots out of pipes and motors. I was in a group of seven and it was a girl group. We had to go to the robotics meeting every other week. The 3rd robotics meeting we went to the pool to test out robot. Ours didn't work because it floated and didn’t dive. It was supposed to go underwater and not sink and not float. So the next meeting we had to fix it.

Sawyer's 2016 Soccer Prediction
by Sawyer

There are many leagues in Europe but one of the most competitive leagues is the Champions League.  It’s almost upon us! The 2017 Champions League finals will be held in the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on June 3, 2017. The Champions League is a tournament held every year between the best teams in Europe. It starts out between thirty-two teams in the group stage, there are four teams in a group. After three matches, two teams are eliminated from each group leaving sixteen teams. From there on out they play two matches and add the scores together to see the winner. In the finals they play only one game. I want to predict some of the most likely teams to be crowned champion.

They took a plane and saw many sites and when they got there they saw many pyramids. The next day they all decided to take a trip around Egypt and enjoy all the sites. So they walked around talking about stuff looking around, but then they saw a huge pyramid so they went in. When they walked in there was a blinding light coming from hieroglyphs on the wall. But they all noticed that there was something under the hieroglyphics. It was kind of like tombstone with a mystical tint to it. They all wanted to touch the tombstone. Amy got closer first, then River, followed by Amethyst, Zoe and Clover. They all took one step together then bumped into the tombstone; they fell like dominos. But they didn’t care they just got up like nothing happened, but something did they all gained the power to read minds.
