Mutation
by Alyssa

I woke up from a deep sleep one night covered in welts. I was sweating and the bumps hurt like crazy. I immediately let out a huge scream. I pulled myself out of bed and ran to the bathroom. I was surprised to see huge boils all over my face and body.

The Prison
by Eliza
I never really imagined life beyond my cell. I always thought the world was the same as prison, except bigger. I always thought the world was pointless.

Computers: Taking Over The World Part I
Cassie
Between the years of 1833 and 1871, Charles Babbage invented the computer. As years and years past, more and more technology has been invented. But little did they all know, one day a modern day computer would take over the world.

The Sneeze
by James
It all started with one sneeze, none of this would have happened if Alex told his boss that he sneezed in the McDonalds’ secret formula that they put in every food and drink they have. If he had told his boss they would have thrown it away and made a new jug of the formula and nothing bad would have happened and everyone would be happy and go on with their lives. But no, that is not what happened Alex was scared he was going to get fired and he couldn’t afford that with his mom recently getting cancer and his dad getting paid less because he needed time to take care of his mother. It normally wouldn’t have created a killer virus but at night a squirrel found its way into the jug and dissolved. The sneeze and the squirrel mixed together creating a killer virus.

Lego: Imaginative Building
by Salil
You may have heard of the word “Lego.” To most of the world, LEGO is a company that makes colorful building blocks and sells them as toys. But some people look deeper into LEGO. Some of them are members of the LEGO Company themselves. I myself am one of those people who look deeper into LEGO. I am Salil Pai, a fan of LEGO. I love playing with LEGOs. To me, they’re more that just a bunch of plastic bricks. They’re toys of our imagination. But for me, one question remains. What is LEGO?

Quest Age of Darkness
by Lawrence
There is a legend… a legend, three heroes to rise and defeat the evil warlord Varron… but I don’t believe in destiny. In the land Marowin, I lived in a small cottage in the country side. Farming the crops was hard work, but I managed. I am Eric Farren. The old cottage had holes and mold with a smell of muddy pigs.

All About Soccer
by Andrew
Soccer is my favor sport because I am fast and good at soccer. I have played a lot. Play soccer a lot with my dad and my brother. Sometimes we pass the ball some. I am goal for my soccer team. I am good at goalie and midfield. My mom tells me to get off my I pad and she says” GO PLAY SOCCER!” So I go play soccer with my friends. We get a game started and we play but then we realize we need more people so I call my friends and we go to the park. Then people at the park want to play so at the end of the day we pick up the cones and take the kids home. When I was in bed I thought to myself and said “I had a lot of fun with my friends.” so play with your friends even if you are better than them.

Athletes On The Run
by Kate
It all started on a sunny day in New York City. The weather was absolutely perfect and the usual vivid lights were shining all around. Athletes from all around the world came to NYC for the annual sports convention. They all gathered in the prodigious Empire State Building. The smells of rats and subway gas filled the big space as the players waited for the convention to start. Their visages were filled with mixed emotions; some with joy and gratitude; others with malice and greed. Everything was moving rather smoothly until…

Rena Watchfield and The Big Three

Rena was practicing. She could move things with her eyes. She hadn’t told anyone that she could do it yet, but she still thought somehow someone knew. She placed her gaze on a droplet of water in a cup. It moved toward her. She stretched out her tongue hoping to catch it.
