Immortals
by Madeline
“Rosalie Wolfe, lose the attitude now,” my mom said angrily. She set my little three year old brother Alexander down on the floor next to the box she’d been unpacking and put her hands on her hips. Mom took a deep breath and breathed out heavily through her nose. When she spoke again, her voice was tense. “I know that the divorce was hard but honey, please try to not take it out on me.”

About the Author
Madeline lives in Greensboro, North Carolina. She lives with her brother and two sisters and mom and stepdad. She loves Mike N’ Ikes and likes to play Minecraft. She enjoys bad reality T.V, making weird cakes, and working in her pajamas. Madeline has a passion for all things humorous. She loves education but hates school and has a passion for mythology and folklore.

Fluffy and Puffy
by Demetria
Hello I am Puffy and this is Fluffy we are best friends, but not until a few weeks ago.I was born in Charlotte, North Carolina right by a race track. Every day I heard racers training to be professionals. I loved watching them go round and round the track. This has inspired me to become a professional race car driver. When I got older I started making more friends, but I became an enemy of cats. My mother says I am extremely crazy because I drank a bit of the gas in the engines which gets the cars to go super-fast. That explains why I am an extreme dare devil.

About the Author
Demetria was born in Greensboro, North Carolina. Demetria will be going to the sixth grade. She will also be bridging from a junior to a cadet in Girl Scouts. Demetria loves helping out in the community such as school and Girl Scouts. She loves to do theater, where she has participated in over ten plays and would love to go to Broadway when she gets older. Demetria also likes to play with children. She loves going to see her teachers and seeing the children’s faces light up with joy. Ever since she was little she has dreamed of being a pediatrician.
